the article i read about was about sentimental clothing, it said how some things are okay to keep cause they have sentimental value to you but that if you keep too much stuff all of it loses its meaning and becomes just junk, it then listed some thing that were okay to keep and things that were just too much, it also said that if you pick the stuff that you keep very carefully it will have more meaning in the long run. i learned through reading this that it's okay to keep things people give you but not everything because eventually when you keep so much stuff it loses the effect you get by seeing that object.

this is my sweatshirt on the mailbox from the picture i took for the first assignment i made it look mosiacy and i think it turned our really cool looking

the concept behind this design was showing the sweatshirt and the design on the sweatshirt and the text is a black and red falling text running down the logo

this concept was taking the sweatshirt as a person and making it look famous by adding the stars behind it because the sweatshirt is getting its picture taken alot by me so the sweatshirt has a fame thing going on and i put the heart next to it because i wanted to incorporate what the sweatshirt means to me and the text i made look like when you go to a concert and they have the headlining act in that kind of font

this concept was taking the sweatshirt and putting it in a city enviroment because my boyfriend loves the city so this is like the sweatshirt traveling and i made the text broken up to look like old letter cracking like they have in an old city

this concept was inspired by one of my pictures becasue i had one of the sweatshirt eating breakfast so i made the sweatshirt and put utensils on the front of it and then i made the text look like a menu writing

this creates a story about my subject because my subject is about my boyfriend denis and how he gave me the sweatshirt so in this collage I'm trying to depict all of the things denis and the sweatshirt make me feel, i chose the two different backgrounds because me and denis have different backgrounds he's Ukrainian and I'm italian also the clouds background i put in because he makes me feel like i'm floating on clouds all the time, i chose the hope and love picture because he brings me hope for the future and love, i chose the legs because he makes me feel sexy, i chose the fence because he makes me feel safe like no one can harm me, i chose the eiffel tower because thats where we are going next summer, i chose the eyes because he's always watching my back, i chose the beach scene because we went to the beach one day and it was a really good day, i also chose the pictures of us because thats what the sweatshirt means to me and i chose the picture with the words because we're having a hard time adjusting to the change but we can get through anything. the tools i used to create this image are, the brush tool, lasso tool, cloning stamp, adjustment layers, brightness/contrast/ opacity tool,free transform, transform,layer styles,smudge tool.

Adjustment Layers

i changed the colors in the 4 panel one to the complimenatry colors in box one then in box two is the orginal and box 3 i played with saturation and box for is the non chromatic box

this is the one i improved i lightened the colors making them brighter i also have the other sweatshirt in there and i cloned stamped the cheetah print from the drawing onto the board to give is a cool effect
this is the one i dramatically changed i did selective coloring on the big sweatshirt to make it stand out the rest i left black and white and then i made it so the cheetah print on the board would stand out i think this communicates to the topic becasue i made sure the sweatshirt was the focal point of the picture

i think this shows the perspective very well and relates to my object being at breakfast because my object is always with me so the cereal box just shows that no matter where i am i take my object with me
i think this image shows my intrest in my object because my object is always laying around so i think this images translates that the sweatshirt is hanging around and that translates into how special the object is to me
